New decisions were made by the Council of Ministers during its meeting today.
The Council of Ministers met today under the chairmanship of the President of the Republic, Speaker of the House of Representatives, Annita Dimitriou due to the absence of the President of the Republic abroad.
During the session, therefore, the following decisions were taken:

Approved an Emergency Training Plan for Workers in Recreation Centers located in the free area of Ammochosto and on the Pafos beach front and are under suspension of operations during the period November 2022 – March 2023. The training program will be conducted in-house by the listed companies and, during the training period, they will pay the trainees a training allowance equal to their normal salary, based on which all the contributions which are collected by the Social Insurance Services. At the same time, the Social Insurance Services will pay the company the unemployment benefit to which the trainees are entitled.
