The cleanup will take place at the Nicosia Linear Park on Sunday, October 29, as part of the End of Cleanup Week Ceremony organized by Let's< /strong> Do It! Cyprus, with the active coordination and support of the Municipalities of Nicosia, Strovolos and Lakatamia.
Remaining faithful to its corporate values, Lidl Cyprus continues to support initiatives and actions whose main concern is the protection of the environment, as well as the cultivation of environmental awareness. In this context, this year, as the Major Sponsor of the largest single clean-up that has ever taken place in Cyprus, it will make its big “presence” on Sunday, October 29 at the Linear Park of Nicosia, at the Closing Ceremony of the Clean-up Week organized by Let's Do It! Cyprus with the contribution of the Municipalities of Nicosia, Strovolos and Lakatamia which are adjacent to the park.
The cleanup will extend the entire length of the park, which is 14 kilometers long. The 3 starting points of the cleanup will be the Nicosia Municipal Park, the Strovolos Town Hall and the Bicycle Park in Lakatamia. At each point, there will be talks and free workshops for young and old, while there will also be the popular Lidl Cyprus canteen, Vantastic, LFA On The Go, the mobile version of the Lidl Food Academy, as well as a Lidl Cyprus stand, which will offer Lidl products and cleaning equipment to participants.
