There were dozens of complaints by drivers for various traffic offenses during a campaign by the Z team of the Limassol traffic police. There were also several complaints from citizens riding personal mobility devices (e-scooters).
According to the police, as part of the effort to reduction of serious and of fatal traffic accidents, was carried out yesterday by the Z team of the Limassol traffic police, a campaign that started at seven yesterday morning, ended at seven in the evening and focused on the city center.
During it, seven motorcycles were confiscated of large displacement and five cars that were deemed unsuitable. Ninety-seven drivers were reported for various traffic violations. There were also 25 complaints of citizens riding Personal Mobility Devices (e-scooters).
According to the police, the traffic campaigns will continue in the coming days.
