The Police in Limassol are investigating a case of robbery against a 65-year-old man. Unknown persons attacked, beat the 65-year-old and then stole his wallet.
The incident happened a few minutes before 6 in the morning on the embankment pedestrian street in Limassol. According to the police, the 65-year-old was walking when two young people appeared in front of him. In broken Greek they asked him for money. Before the 65-year-old could react, he was attacked and beaten, knocking him to the ground. Then they grabbed his wallet containing about 40 euros and ran away.
Passers-by heard the victim's screams, who informed the Police. The 65-year-old was transported by ambulance to the Limassol hospital. The perpetrators are being sought by the police.
