ΠανΕτοιμη η Λ&epsilon ;μεσoς για την 62η γιορτor του κρασι οy-Μàθε /></p> <p>A renewed and enriched with new elements Wine Festival, with a rich artistic program and plenty of wine, the Municipality of Limassol promises, for 8 days 7 to 15 October, in the public garden of the city.</p> <p>In a press conference late on Monday afternoon, in the presence of members of the municipal council and representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture, the Deputy Ministry of Tourism, wine producers and community leaders, the Mayor of Limassol Nikos Nicolaidis referred to the program of the 62nd Wine Festival, which opens on Saturday night October 7 at the municipal garden theater “Marios Tokas” by the Minister of Energy, Trade and Industry Giorgos Papanastasiou.</p> <p>“The 62nd Wine Festival is here, renewed and enriched with a rich artistic program, great concerts and many innovations” , said Nikos Nikolaidis, adding that “the biggest folk festival of the place is starting, with the aim of providing entertainment to locals and visitors to our city and of course plenty of wine”.</p> <p>During the eight nights of the celebration, he continued, a beautifully decorated and illuminated public garden will offer spectacular opening and closing ceremonies at the municipal garden theater “Marios Tokas”, an upgraded program with popular theater and music performances, every night, with dozens of artists.< /p> </p> <p>In addition, said the Mayor of Limassol, the artistic program, in addition to the garden theater space, extends under the pants to all five taverns that will operate and offer “food at affordable prices and high levels of quality and hygiene”. Among other things, he said, an exhibition of photography and cartoons on the theme of wine will be inaugurated, there will be lectures on wine production, entertainment and educational events, while there is also a children's playground.</p> <p>Of course, he noted, there will be plenty of bulk wine as well as bottled wine from wineries, at affordable prices, while this year's innovations include the launch of a collector's bottled wine of the “Marathevtiko” variety. It is, he explained, about the “Wine of the Wine Festival” and specifically about 3,600 numbered bottles of wine, which were produced with the cooperation of the three local wineries, KEO, SODAP and LOEL, and will be sold for 10 euros.</p> <p>At this point, Mr. Nikolaidis noted that for the first time the ETKO wine industry is absent from the Wine Festival and expressed the appreciation and love of the municipal authorities “for the huge history of wine production in the city and what it has offered for so many years ».</p> <p>Referring to the second innovation of this year's celebration, he said it is about the addition of “street food” stands, giving more food options to visitors.</p> <p>Just like last year, so this year, he continued, the Wine Festival goes in two communities of the province, specifically in the traditional wine village of Pachna on October 8 and in the traditional commander village of Agios Konstantinos on October 15, while small wine festivals will take place in the districts of Zakaki and Tsiflikoudion, on October 4 and 5, respectively.</p> <p> < p>He also noted that EMEL will offer free specific bus routes to the Wine Festival, while the Deputy Ministry of Tourism will offer free bus transportation from Nicosia, Larnaca, Paphos and Ayia Napa.</p> <p>The press conference of Municipality of Limassol for the Wine Festival started with wine songs by the singers “Ariones”.</p> <p>All information about the program of the Wine Festival is posted on the website of the Municipality of Limassol.</p> <p><noindex></p> <div class=Source: 24h.com.cy
