The Nicosia District Court issued a liquidation decree for a well-known Cypriot insurance company. Specifically, & nbsp; following a relevant request of the Insurance Companies Audit Service through the Attorney General of the Republic, a liquidation decree of the Company was issued by the Nicosia District Court, by which a liquidator was appointed at Liberty Life Insurance Public Company Ltd (under Ekkata ») Mr. Marios Panagi.
After the publication of the decree, the relevant provisions will be followed both on Insurance Works and other Related Issues Laws of 2016-2019 as well as on Companies Law Chapter 113.
Both the customers and all those interested in the Company's affairs, will be informed about the developments and the procedures as provided by the legislation but also through announcements on the Company's website ( www .libertylife .com .cy ). It is noted that the telephones and contact details of the Company remain the same. his appointment as Liquidator, & nbsp; without taking any personal responsibility.
It is recalled that the Insurance Superintendent had written a letter on October 23, 2020, revoking Liberty Life's operating license. & Nbsp; Universal Life, which after evaluating each case individually, provided the possibility of insurance coverage through its own insurance products on an ongoing basis, with no waiting periods and no exceptions for any medical conditions that had arisen during their existing contract.
