The plan to invade and occupy Ukraine by the Russian military forces is evolving on four main fronts. The big front is in Kiev, where the Russians are trying to enter the capital, occupy government buildings and “arrest” President Volodymyr Zelensky and the Ukrainian government. The second front is in Mariupol, where specific targets are being bombed. The third front is in Kharkov, where, according to reports, fighting is taking place in several places.
Shortly before midnight, the Russian side claimed that it had entered Melitoupolis and removed Ukrainian troops from the area.
In Kiev, Russian forces besiege the city and its suburbs. The resistance, however, is great, as Ukrainian forces have taken up positions at key points, in the passages to the center of the capital, while key passages and bridges have been demolished in order to block or delay the passage of armored vehicles and tanks. p>
