Archbishop Chrysostomos II, who passed away at the age of 81, on Monday morning, Cyprus will say goodbye today at 12:00 in the Cathedral of the Apostle Barnabas in the Archdiocese.
The funeral of the Archbishop will be presided over by the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, who visited Cyprus for the first time.
The funeral will also be attended by the President of the Hellenic Republic Katerina Sakellaropoulou and the President of the Republic of Cyprus Nikos Anastasiadis, who will deliver the eulogy.
The body of Archbishop Chrysostomos will be buried in a crypt, under the Cathedral of the Apostle Barnabas, as was his wish.
