Paphos Police are investigating a case of malicious damage to fishermen's nets.
According to the Police, it was reported yesterday by a professional fisherman that unknown persons caused damage to his fishing nets, amounting to 500 euros which he had placed in the sea area Ha – Potami.
After the complaint and further examinations by the Police, a testimony emerged against a 50-year-old Greek Cypriot resident of Paphos.
The 50-year-old was arrested today at 12:25 was interrogated, and after being charged in writing he was fired to be summoned later.
The examinations continue by the Kouklia police station.
