At least one electric vehicle charging point must be installed in all non-residential buildings with more than 20 parking spaces by January 1, 2025, according to the Energy Agency.
< p data-block-key="cfksb">In its announcement, the Energy Agency states that according to article 9D(2) of the “2006 Regulation of the Energy Performance of Buildings Law” (Law 142(I)/2006 ), by January 1, 2025, all non-residential buildings with more than twenty (20) parking spaces shall have at least one electric vehicle recharging point installed.
It is added that the above requirement of the law “is part of the policies and measures implemented with the aim of increasing the electrification infrastructure in buildings”.
It is also mentioned that after January 1, 2025, the Energy Agency plans to conduct sample audits to check compliance with the relevant provision of the Law.
