Trading on the CSE ended with marginal gains on Thursday. The General Index closed at 109.07 points, registering a marginal increase of 0.20%. The FTSE/CySE 20 Index rose 0.18% to close at 65.97 points. The daily turnover amounted to €69,558.76.
As regards the individual stock indices, the Main Market rose by 0.14%, closing at 78.52 points, and the Alternative Market by 0.11%, closing at 1,088.98 points. On the contrary, Investments recorded a 1.53% drop, closing at 991.84 units, while Hotels remained unchanged, closing at 873.41 units.
The Bank of Cyprus securities attracted the most investment interest with € 18,195.9 (closing price €2.59 – up 0.39%), Alkis Hadjikyriakos (Frou Frou) with €13,823.18 (closing price €0.27 – no change), Hellenic Bank with €11,133.75 (closing price €1.785 – up 0.85%), of Vassilikos Cement Works at €9,188.04 (closing price 2.76 – up 0.73%), of KEO at €5,645 (closing price €1.48 – down 1 .33%) and Dimitra Investments with €4,999.79 (closing price €0.488 – down 1.61%).
Of the traded shares, 6 moved up, 3 down and 5 remained unchanged . The number of transactions amounted to 39.
