The Cyprus Stock Exchange registered a marginal increase on Monday, with the General Index closing at 108.12 points, recording a gain of 0.04%.
The FTSE/CySE 20 also gained 0.06% to close at 65.41 points. Regarding the individual indices, the Main Market fell slightly by 0.05%, closing at 78.27 points, while on the contrary, the Alternative Market registered a slight increase by 0.06%, closing at 1,080.90, and the Investment Markets, recording an increase 0.18% closing at 1,059.66 points. Hotels remained unchanged.
Logicom's share was the most marketable with a trading volume of €33,640.34 (down 1.79% – closing price €2.20), followed by Hellenic Bank's share with a volume of €32,007.00 (up 0.85% – closing price €1.78). The Bank of Cyprus shares followed with a trading volume of 14,865.91 euros (closing price of 2.46 euros – no change), Atlantic Insurance Company Dem. Ltd with €3,702.00 (up 8.33% – closing price €1.82), and of Louis Plc (Louis) with a volume of €3,115.00 (down 5.98% – closing price €0.08).< /p>
Of the shares traded, 3 moved up, 5 down and 1 remained unchanged. The number of transactions reached 80.
Deletion of Cyprus Treasury Bills
Furthermore, with today's announcement the Stock Exchange Cyprus Securities announces the suspension of trading of the 13-Week Treasury Bills 1st Issue, Series 2023 (27/01/2023 -28/04/2023), with code GD13A23/TB13A23 from April 25, 2023 until April 27, 2023 (inclusive), that is, until the liquidation of all transactions, in view of the deletion of these securities.
It is added that the deletion of the above Treasury Bills from the Stock Exchange and from the Central Depository Register will take place on April 28, 2023.
It is noted that this decision was taken to clear the transactions, within the framework of investor protection, in accordance with Article 183 of the Cyprus Securities and Stock Exchange Law.
