< p>Jeff Bezos, who took his $500 million yacht Koru for the first time last year, is being followed this summer by Mark Zuckerberg, who took delivery of his megayacht Launchpad.

The 118-meter vessel, built by Netherlands-based Feadship, is valued at $300 million. The luxury yacht was completed last March and delivered to Zuckerberg on May 14, the same day the founder and owner of Meta turned 40. The vessel is Marshall Islands-flagged and according to its technical specifications, it is 118 meters long ( 387 ft), 17 meters (55 ft) wide and a capacity of 24 people, to which up to 48 crew members can be added. It has the capability to reach a speed of 20 knots with a range of 3,000 nautical miles and the cost for its annual maintenance exceeds 30 million dollars.

The luxury yacht was designed by experts from Espen Øino International based in Monaco, the which has a long history in the design of large vessels. Little is known about its interiors, other than the fact that they were designed by Zuretti Interior Design, a French firm specializing in yacht interior design.

Launchpad has three decks, painted in white and blue, the bow has a tennis court, while on the back deck, there is a helicopter to bring guests from land.

For the past few weeks, the megayacht has been moored at the luxurious Club de Mar-Mallorca , next to ships of rich sheikhs and businessmen. Over the weekend, Launchpad sailed to the south of the island, to places like Santa Ponça. So far no photos have been taken of the Zuckerberg family or their guests on land, reports el pais.
