The President of the Republic, Nicos Anastasiades, will meet with the King of Great Britain, Charles III, in Scotland on Monday, Andreas Iosif, Director of the Press Office of the President, says in a written statement Democracy.
Specifically, it is noted that on Monday, January 16, at 12.30 p.m. (Cyprus time) President Anastasiades will meet with King Charles III’ at Balmoral Castle, in Scotland.
It is added that during the meeting, the President of the Republic will inform about the latest developments in the Cyprus issue and Turkey's challenges in the Eastern Mediterranean. Also, the bilateral relations of Cyprus will be discussed – of Great Britain, climate change as well as the consequences of the energy crisis, due to Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
