The Metropolitan of Kyrenia, Chrysostomos, gave his own response to the statements of the Metropolitan of Morphou that caused a storm of reactions.
In a post on the official website of the Holy Diocese of Kyrenia, it states:
“Expressing the position of the Holy Metropolis of Kyrenia and mine personally, we believe that the clergyman should not interfere in the bedrooms of couples. Also from our experience through the study of the works of holy people of the Church or in personal communication with them, we have not read and have not heard our saints refer to such matters in such detail. “
