The favorite bar restaurant Mimosa Tapas Bar & Cocktails, in Theofanous Theodotou, on the street in front of the Zena Palace in Nicosia and which has developed into one of the trendiest spots in the Capital, is currently offering new flavors on the plate as well as in the glass.

Nice dishes to share, nice cocktails (classic but also teased) and around 25-30 options for wine by the glass.

You can go to Mimosa from 5 for early drinks and dishes to share, or alternatively go for dinner and continue with wine or cocktails, since as time goes by the rhythms pick up!

In relation to the new tapas menu, which will be launched on Tuesday, June 7, it will have an international direction, with small dishes to share, made with quality raw materials. Speaking with the well-known chef Antonis Kyriakou, from his time at popular restaurants in Nicosia, who is now at Mimosa, having the responsibility and curation of the new menu, he did not fail to share with us some of the new dishes, opening good luck with the descriptions.

From the new Mimosa menu you will be able to enjoy dishes such as fish fillet, stuffed with a mixture of shrimp, served with celeriac puree and peanut crust, as well as a salad with baby arugula, sweet spoonful of watermelon and walnut, marinated zucchini in feta, and a sauce with radish and apple cider vinegar. Another main dish that stood out is the grilled fish fillet, served with a cilantro chutney mixed with chickpeas, marinated cherry tomatoes and lemon, while the desserts are definitely the orange cream, served on a syrupy baklava sheet, with crushed jalapeno and hazelnut , which is served with orange ice cream, is sure to be a hit!

As far as cocktails are concerned, Savvas Hatzittofis, who prepared the list – while he will also be behind the bar of the shop -, it will include 25 cocktail options, several of which are classic and some classic but teased. In relation to the drink, Mimosa also offers a wide range of whisky, rum and gin, while the wine list is enriched even more, with labels mainly from Cyprus and Greece, but and from France and Italy. Finally, please note that the store is open Wednesday through Saturday there is a DJ, with the beats even increasing from 11 p.m., until 02.00 a.m. when it closes (on Fridays and Saturdays, or at 01.00 a.m. on weekdays).
