In 2021 we allocated € 22 million, taxpayers' money for rapid tests, says in a post on twitter the Minister of Finance Konstantinos Petridis about the Government's decision to stop free sampling to citizens, while emphasizing that society can no longer subsidize them unvaccinated to the detriment of other public benefit policies.
“In 2021 we allocated € 22 million, taxpayers' money for rapid tests. We have provided free vaccines for everyone to protect society. “We respect the right to choose, but society can no longer subsidize the unvaccinated at the expense of other public benefit policies,” Mr. Petridis wrote in a post.
