Cyprus is ready to implement the Home Plan, Foreign Minister Dr. Konstantinos Kombos said on Wednesday at KYPE, adding that all prescribed actions have been takenin the event of the removal of citizens from Lebanon due to the situation in the Middle East.

Asked if Canada has indeed concluded an agreement with Cyprusregarding the removal of its citizens from Lebanon, Mr. Kombos said that all the prescribed actions have been taken to implement Hestia. “That is, for organized removals of citizens through the Republic of Cyprus and after their transfer to countries of destination, in the context of the humanitarian assistance we offered in 2006 and 2023″, he added.

Referring to yesterday's reactions to the occupied with the statements of the leader, Mr. Kombos said that the Turkish Cypriot side is disturbed and is trying to torpedo it. “We reject baseless claims“, said the Foreign Minister, adding that the actions of the Cypriot Government are of a “humanitarian nature”.
