Israeli professor Gal Luft, who was arrested in Cyprus and then disappeared, told the NYPost that he is alive and living in an unknown location.

< p>It is recalled that Luft was arrested on February 16 at Larnaca airport in execution of an international warrant issued at the request of the FBI on charges of illegal arms trafficking to China and Libya during the period 2015-2023. Three days after his arrest, Gal Luft in a post on twitter accused Hunter Binder and Jim Biden, son and brother of the US President respectively, of creating a conspiracy against him.

Subsequently by court order, he was released on restrictive conditions pending the completion of his deportation proceedings to the US to stand trial. The restrictive conditions provided for the deposit of a guarantee on his behalf in the amount of 150,000 euros and his personal appearance twice a week at the TAE Paphos.

However, according to the “Maariv” newspaper, on March 28 the Cyprus Police declared him a missing person, when his lawyer declared that Luft had disappeared and expressed fears for his physical integrity. The Cyprus Police conducted investigations to locate him and the following day, March 29, his car was found abandoned in an uninhabited area near Dromolaxia. The Israeli newspaper Maariv, citing Cypriot police sources, reports that there are suspicions that Gal Luft headed to the village of Pyla, apparently wanting to escape to the occupied territories.

He pointed out that “there is malicious intent on the part of the US government,'' since the release coincided with Nov. 1, 2022, seven days before the midterm elections, when Republicans were expected to win control of the House and begin investigating allegations of foreign influence. to the Biden family. I didn't want to be involved in this game, but when I was arrested I had no choice but to blow it up.

The Israeli Professor had made accusations against Hunter Biden, son of Joe Biden. , that he was able to secure classified FBI information, which he was able to funnel to his Chinese business partners. He also claims to have reached out to the US Department of Justice, filing evidence that allegedly proves the Biden family's ties to oil and gas company CEFC, which, before it went bankrupt in late April 2020, was allegedly controlled by high-ranking Chinese government officials. . According to the NYP, China's CEFC paid Hunter Biden $100,000 a month, as well as $65,000 a month to his uncle, Jim Biden, brother of the current US President.
