At a time when the issue of vaccinations is one of the “hot” topics of recent days, an announcement by George Diallinas , professor of Molecular Microbiology at EKPA through his website has gone viral.
The teacher informs the students that if they choose to attend his class their presence is mandatory and adds that they should have been vaccinated. Mr. Diallinas adds that vaccination is not mandatory, but what he says in his announcement is just a “prompt”.
At the same time, he sends a message to unvaccinated students, saying that if a third-year student in Molecular Biology ignores or does not accept the importance of vaccines, he has already failed and so there is no point in choosing his course.
It should be noted that the announcement of the professor was commented through his Twitter account by the Minister of Development and Investment Adonis Georgiadis. “Simply top” wrote and quoted the message of Mr. Dillinas.
Professor of Molecular Microbiology at the University of Athens George Dillinas has been elected a member of the European Organization of Molecular Biology (EMBO). He studied Microbiology at the British University of Essex (1984) and received his PhD in Molecular Genetics from the University of Paris-Sud (XI) in Paris in 1989.
EMBO, which has 14 other Greek scientists in its ranks, includes about 1,800 of the best researchers in the world in the field of biology and life sciences in general.
