The POED announced that at the Pan Cypriot Statutory Assemblies that ended on Thursday, 2,800 members came to the polls, voting in favor of the proposal of the Board of Directors of the Organization, with a percentage of over 96%.
In a press release, the POED states that they went to the polls and with their vote, authorized the Organization to proceed with its modernization, with the aim of substantially upgrading its way of operation.
The Board of Directors of POED, remains faithful to its commitment and will proceed, in the next period of time, to the completion of all other procedures provided for changing the statutes, it is stated and added that said procedures include decisions, which are expected to be taken at Statutory Assemblies of the Pancypriot Assembly of General Representatives and the Board of Directors.
