The response of the citizens to the new opportunity offered by OKYPY through its renewed website is positive. According to an announcement by the State Health Services Organization, from the beginning of the service until the end of July, the response was great. A total of 620 requests were submitted for an appointment with a choice between 700 doctors of OKYPY.

Citizens take advantage of the opportunity and convenience offered by the State Health Services Organization (OKYPY) to arrange online appointments with doctors working in the Organization's hospitals and Health Centers, through its updated website (https: // shso. org.cy/).
From the beginning of the service until the end of July, the response was great. A total of 620 requests were submitted for an appointment with a choice between 700 doctors of OKYPY. Details of the appointments arranged through the website of the Organization per month in the table / graph below:

In addition to making an appointment, the citizens used the website of OKYPY to contact the doctor of their choice. Through the special portal “communication” in the section “Make an appointment with a doctor” (https://shso.org.cy/anazitisi-iatrou/), 168 citizens sent requests online to doctors, easily and simply filling out a special form with their name , their email address, a contact telephone and the reason for contacting the doctor.

700 doctors of OKYPY at the disposal of the citizens
On the renewed website of OKYPY, citizens can find all the information about the 700 or more doctors working in the Organization but also request, at any time, the appointment by submitting an easy and quick request by filling out the relevant form. It is noted that, for an appointment with a specialist doctor, a referral from the patient's personal doctor is needed. When the request is submitted, a competent official of OKYPY communicates by phone with the interested party, within a period not exceeding 48 hours, for the arrangement of the appointment.
