The complaints of 100 citizens and 1 premises for violation of the measures against the spread of the coronavirus, were made by the Police in the last 24 hours, which ended at 6:00 this morning, in the context of 9,061 inspections throughout free Cyprus.
According to a representative of the Police Communication Branch, by province, 2,216 checks were carried out in Nicosia and 18 citizens were reported, while in Limassol there were complaints of 45 citizens and 1 estate, after 1,878 checks.
In Larnaca, 1,499 checks were carried out and 16 citizens were reported.
In Paphos, the Police reported 11 citizens for violating the measures against the spread of the coronavirus, after conducting 1,290 checks. In Famagusta, 1,259 inspections were carried out and 10 citizens were reported.
710 checks were also carried out in the area of Morfos with no citizen complaints, while 21 checks were carried out by the Port and Maritime Police without any complaints. There were no complaints at Larnaca and Paphos airports.
Finally, the Traffic Department carried out 188 inspections, all over Cyprus, without any complaint.
