The European Central Bank has approved his appointment as a Non-Executive Member
Hellenic Bank announced the resignation of Mrs. Marianna Pantelidou – Neophytou from the Bank's Board of Directors and at the same time the appointment of Mr. Christodoulos Hadjistavris in her place.
According to an announcement at the Cyprus Stock Exchange, following announcements by Hellenic Bank of September 26 and December 28 regarding notifications made regarding future resignations from the Bank's Board of Directors, the Bank announces that Ms. Marianna Pantelidou has resigned from the Board. S. and that, following the consent of the European Central Bank, the Board of Directors has approved the appointment of Mr. Christodoulos Hadjistavris as a Non-Executive Member of the Bank's Board of Directors, both with effect from January 26, 2023.
Mr. Christodoulos Hadjistavris was born in 1981. He graduated from Kykkou High School in Nicosia and studied Mathematical Sciences with Finance and Economics at City University in London. He is a Chartered Accountant – Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
He worked at the international auditors/financial consultants PricewaterhouseCoopers from 2004 to 2008 and then at the Strategy, Mergers & Bank of Cyprus Group Acquisitions. Since 2014 he has been working at Wargaming Group Ltd where he now serves in the General Directorate of the Office of the Chief Executive Officer and as Investment Portfolio Manager.
From May 2014 until August 2019 he was a Non-Executive Member of the Board of Directors Hellenic Bank. He is a Non-Executive Member of the Board of Directors of Pancyprian Insurance Limited, Hellenic Life Insurance Company Ltd and HB Insurance Holding Ltd.
