In the last 24 hours, the Police carried out 8,302 checks for violation of the decrees restricting the pandemic and reported 92 citizens and a property owner.
A spokesman for the Police Press Office told KYPE that 2,288 checks were carried out in Nicosia and 23 complaints were made, in Limassol the checks were 1,247 and 38 citizens were reported and in Larnaca 1,265 checks were made with 11 complaints from citizens.
The Police in Paphos carried out 1,160 checks and reported 7 citizens and the owner of a property, in Famagusta 1,227 checks were made with 10 complaints of citizens and in Morphou 722 checks without complaint.
The Traffic Police carried out 345 checks with 3 complaints of citizens, the Port Police in 36 checks without complaint, and the MMAD 12 checks also without complaint.
