As the representative of OKYPY, Pampos Charilaou, stated before the Health Committee of the Parliament, the fact that 84% of the citizens over 80 years of age have been vaccinated, as well as 75% of the residents in nursing homes, gives hope that in the next period of time there will be heavy hospitalizations. He also referred to the fact that at the moment most of the people who are hospitalized are between 40 and 50 years old, giving the typical example that out of the 5 people who are in the MAF of Limassol General Hospital, 4 are around 40.
