In a brilliant event held on May 29, Vassos Iliadis Ltd., the official importer of Nestlé products in Cyprus, celebrated 110 years of successful cooperation with the largest food and beverage company.
The event was graced by the presence of His Excellency the President of the Republic of Cyprus Mr. Nikos Christodoulidis, the President & CEO of Nestlé Greece, Nikos Emmanuilidis, high-ranking executives of the company and other distinguished guests.
Mr. Vassos K. Iliadis, General Manager of Vassos Iliadis Ltd, speaking about the long-term cooperation between the two companies, pointed out: “We are proud of this relationship and it is a great honor for us that Nestlé trusts our company to manage its products in the Cypriot market, for more than a century. I assure you that all of us at the Vassos Iliadis company will continue to work with the same passion and just as hard as the founder of our company one hundred and ten years ago, so that Nestlé products are always first in the hearts of Cypriot consumers”.
His Excellency the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Mr. Nikos Christodoulidis said: “My presence tonight is a sign of appreciation and recognition of the Cypriot State for your long-term contribution, not only to the local economy but also to social issues, through corporate social responsibility initiatives , in areas such as environmental protection and gender equality. These are elements that make you a model of a successful company.”
Mr. Nikos Emmanuilidis, President & CEO of Nestlé Hellas, said: “There are few companies that can demonstrate such strong ties and such a long history as that of Nestlé Hellas and Vassos Iliadis. We look at the future with the same perspective and this in itself is a strong foundation for many more years of cooperation”.
