An inflatable boat with nine migrants on board was located at dawn in the sea area of Kato Pyrgos Tillyria, mobilizing the Port Police and the competent services of the State.
According to a representative of the Communication Branch of the Police Headquarters, at 01:15 on Wednesday, a spot was found & # 8211; unknown target northwest of Pomos.
After actions it was found at 05:15 that the target is an inflatable boat on which nine migrants were riding. The Port and Maritime Police immediately went to the area and the target was located. The inflatable boat of the migrants was then transported safely near the port of Kato Pyrgos accompanied by the Port and Maritime Police.
The examinations continue from the Kato Pyrgos Tillyria police station for the verification of the details of the passengers on the boat.
