New challenges from Recep Tayyip Erdogan during his speech on Turkey's energy programs .
After first saying that after the plant in Akuyu, the country will have “a second and a third nuclear plant “ , the Turkish president spoke about the drilling operations, without showing a willingness to retreat.
“In recent years we have been acting in an exemplary manner in research and drilling. We have included three drilling rigs and two seismic survey vessels in our fleet and we have done 14 drilling operations in the Black Sea. We did not have any positive messages from the research until recently, but we decided to continue and reach the most important discoveries in the history of the Black Sea. “Turkey is moving to another level, we hope to start using the gas findings in 2023. We will share the gas with our citizens,” Erdogan said initially.
He continued: “We will find and move everything that exists in the Black Sea and the Mediterranean. The opposition says we are afraid. “Whatever you say, we will increase the number of our drilling rigs and research vessels, whether you like it or not .”
