The new data for insurable earnings, presumed incomes and pensions that will be effective from January 2023 are announced by the Social Insurance Services.
Regarding insurable earnings, they announce that the upper limit of insurable earnings increases from the contribution month January 2023 to €1,155 per week and €5,005 per month.
Regarding the presumptive income of the self-employed on which social security contributions are calculated, announce that they will increase by 3.37% from January 2, 2023.
It is also announced that the January 2023 increase rate, both in the basic and the supplementary part of pensions, is offset by the percentage of the inflation rate granted to pensions in July 2022. Therefore, as noted, both the basic and the supplementary part of pensions from January 1, 2023 will have zero increase.
