New date for the examination of applications for Pensions / Allowances / Benefits

The Social Security Services, in an effort to further serve the citizens, issue on a weekly basis an announcement regarding the date of examination of the applications received and concerning Pensions / Allowances / Benefits.

It is noted that the examination of the applications received at earlier dates is pending, for which additional information has been requested and is expected from the applicants.
1. UNEMPLOYMENT BENEFIT:
• The applications of those employees whose employment was terminated and their unemployment period started on 04/05/2021 are examined.
• The cases of those who already receive unemployment benefit, which concerns the unemployment period June – July 2021, are examined.
2. PAYMENT BECAUSE OF SURPLUS: Applications submitted in July 2020 are considered. they have been asked.
3. INSURANCE ALLOWANCE: There is a nationwide campaign to examine applications.

4. DISABILITY PENSION: Applications received in May 2021 are examined, provided that they have been sent to a Medical Council.
5. DISABILITY PENSION: The received applications January – February 2021 are examined as they have been sent to the Medical Council.
6. BODY DAMAGE ALLOWANCE: The received applications for June – July 2021 are examined.
7. SECONDARY MEDICAL COUNCIL: The hierarchical appeals of October – November 2020 are examined.
8. INSTITUTIONAL PENSION: The received applications for which the applicants acquire the right January – February 2021 are examined.
9. SOCIAL PENSION: The received applications for which the applicants acquire the right January – February 2021 are examined.
10. WIDOW PENSION:
• For the cases where the deceased spouse did not receive a statutory pension, the received applications of February – March 2021 are examined.
• For the cases where the deceased spouse received a statutory pension, the received applications February – March 2021 are examined.
• With the enactment of the Amending Law 126 (I) / 2019 on Social Insurance on 05/08/2019, the received applications are examined, by male applicants of 2019, 2020 and 2021.
11. FUNERAL AID:
• For the cases where the deceased received a widow's pension, the received applications of March 2021 are examined.
• For cases where the deceased received a statutory pension, did not have a spouse and the request for funeral assistance comes from another person who undertook the funeral expenses, the received applications in March 2021 are examined.
• For the cases where the deceased received a social pension, the received applications of March 2021 are examined.
• For other cases (eg the deceased was / was not retired and had a spouse, the deceased was not retired and did not have a spouse, the deceased was a young person, single, and the application comes from the parent or his / her siblings, the deceased was missing) applications received in March 2021 are examined.
12. ORPHAN ALLOWANCE: The received applications for April – May 2021 are examined.
13. BIRTH AID: Examined applications received in May 2021.
14. MATERNITY ALLOWANCE:
• For the first payment, the received applications are examined until 12/05/2021.
• For continuous payments, applications are considered for which the necessary information has been submitted (eg birth declaration) received in March 2021
15. FATHERHOOD ALLOWANCE: Applications received in April 2021 are examined.
16. Applications for statutory pension, widowhood and incapacity which are paid under bilateral conventions and European Union Regulation 883/04:
• Institutional Pension: Examines applications for which responses have been received regarding details, certificates and insurance accounts from other institutions, for applicants born in 1954–1957.
• Disability Pension: Applications received in July 2021 are reviewed.
• Widow's Pension: Examines the applications received in July 2021 for which answers have been received regarding data, certificates and insurance accounts from other institutions.
• Orphan Allowance: Examines the applications received in May 2020 for which responses have been received regarding data, certificates and insurance accounts from other institutions.
17. Criminal Cases: In March 2021 (latest data) 1300 criminal cases were pending, of which 893 concerned employers and 407 concerned self-employed.
