The causes of a fatal car accident with the victim 21-year-old Andreas Christodoulou, formerly from Pera Chorio Nisou, are being investigated by the Police.
The accident happened around 2.30 on Thursday, on the old road Nicosia – Limassol, at a point in the Industrial Area of Idali, where the 21-year-old was riding a motorcycle, in the direction of Nicosia and under investigated conditions, collided with a car driving 20 in the direction of Limassol.
Members of the Police rushed to the scene for examinations, while an ambulance transported the two drivers to the General Hospital of Nicosia, where a doctor confirmed the death of the 21-year-old motorcyclist. The 20-year-old car driver was slightly injured.
The Police appeals to anyone who knows anything about the circumstances under which the fatal car accident occurred, such as contacting the Nicosia Traffic Police, at 22-802023, or the Citizen's Line, at 1460, or with the nearest Police Officer Station.
