For a new attempt to defraud by sending messages to mobile phones and using the name of the Cyprus Post Office the Postal Service warns the public.
According to a statement from the Department, the messages refer to a missing address and an incorrect zip code in relation to the inability to deliver a package.
It is reported that the points that the public should pay attention to in order to establish that the communication below does not come from the Cyprus Post Office are that “mobile messages do not refer to the official website of the Department www.cypruspost.post but at the link httpsː//tinyurl.com or another website with the possible display of the Cyprus Post logo”.
It is also noted that ” Cyprus Post will not return an item or deliver an item because duties/taxes have not been paid.”
It is added that “payments are not directed to JCCSmart's online payment platform, but to another email address”.
