The relevant announcement of the Police clarifies that based on some reports that have been made to the Police, recently, citizens have received notifications on their mobile phone, for an alleged upgrade of a communication application and then users are asked to enter their phone number for upgrade and instead, they are registered in subscription services, which charge by sending sms messages.
The Police recommends special attention to the public regarding such updates that it receives on its mobile phone as these are malicious actions and in case citizens have already unknowingly registered in the subscription services, they are urged to contact their provider to check the telephone billing. their account and where a seizure of money is found, to make a complaint to the Police Station of the area where they reside.
