The Tax Department informs that, based on information received from the Bulgarian Tax Authorities, from 4/1/2022 the VAT registration numbers of specific persons registered in Bulgaria for VAT purposes have changed.
Therefore, traders who, from the above date, make intra-Community deliveries of goods and / or services to registered Bulgarian VAT traders, should request the new Bulgarian VAT registration number which they can verify via the EU website at https://ec.europa.eu/taxation_customs/vies/, before issuing the invoice and completing the Summary Table.
