Announcement of the election staff of the Mayor of Limassol and candidate Nikos Nikolaidis – “The Staff of Mr. Armeutis continues the mud war instead of providing answers to the real issues concerning his candidate”
The Epiteleioof the Mayor of Limassol and candidate for the upcoming Local Government elections Nikos Nicolaidis has issued a statement asking his rival Yannis Armeutis to take a position in the “war”, which as reported, Mr. Nikolaidis accepts.
“Unfortunately, the mud war and fake news continue from Mr. Armeutis's environment. It is sad because in this “war” prelatives of the former Mayor are asking questions with their articles and posts,” the announcement states.
The staff of Mr. Armeutis, he notes, should focus on the answers they have to give about the real issues of his candidate:
· the collection of ancients, while his office was scholars,
· his many proposals for reckless development in sensitive parts of the city, which the Municipal Council rejected ,
; and the dozens of questions of political ethics and ethics concerning the irregular involvement of former members of the Municipal Council and their close relatives in the licensing of developments, for which they themselves were researchers, during the previous decade.< /p>
“Mr. Armeutis no matter how much he muddies the waters, he has to choose a side: He cannot at the same time trade and serve his big clients, but also want to lead Limassol . Or with the interests of the few or with the citizens”, concludes the announcement.
