According to the Police, the fire started shortly after three in the morning while the car was parked outside the house of its owner, in the village of Parekklisia. The fire spread to two other luxury cars belonging to members of the 66-year-old's family and to a kiosk at his residence.
Members of the fire service, who rushed to the scene, extinguished the fire, while the scene was blocked by the Police. Investigations revealed that the fire was started maliciously using flammable material.
The fire damaged the cars and the kiosk, the amount of which has not been calculated yet.
The scene remains closed by the police, whose members are continuing their investigations and interrogations.
