In accordance with the agreement reached between the Turkish Cypriot leader Ersin Tatar and the Greek Cypriot leader Nikos Anastasiadis on June 2, the Technical Health Committee continuously assesses the epidemiological situation and the measures implemented.
Based on the Commission's assessment of 2 March 2022, the following adapted measures will apply to all crossing points from Thursday 3 March (9am):
- No test subjects receiving all three doses of AstraZeneca, Moderna, Pfizer-BioNTech, Sinovac, Sinopharm, Sputnik and Johnson & Johnson vaccine. The validity period of the vaccine for these vaccines is considered to be up to 3 months after the last dose of the initial vaccine or after receiving a booster dose.
- Negative 7-day PCR test or Rapid test for children between 5 and 11 years old, unvaccinated Lyceum students and people living in Kato Pyrgos.
- A 72-hour negative PCR test or a 48-hour Rapid test is required for: have received a booster dose after the expiration date of the vaccine as described above.
