The decision to ban the use of alcohol, cigarettes and hookahs in parks in occupied Kyrenia was announced by the “mayor” of the occupied city Murat Senkul, according to the Turkish Cypriot media.< /p>
According to the reports, in his statements Mr. Senkul said that the parks are intended for children and for this reason the use and sale of alcohol and tobacco products will not be allowed in these areas.
He also stated that the decision taken on Friday will be implemented immediately while changes will be made to the contracts signed with the “managers” of the parks to stop the sale of alcoholic beverages and tobacco products.
