No to the increase in port costs, says the CCCI

Completely contrary to the intention of the company DPWL to impose increases of 5% on port tariffs from February 15, is the CCCI.

According to the CCCI, the shipping companies and the entire commercial world disagree with these intentions of the DPWL as they experience a difficult situation and try to reduce the damage caused to them by the effects of the pandemic. All those involved emphasize the CCCI, demand the maintenance of port costs at current levels as they are unable to shoulder other additional burdens.

The intention of DPWL to increase the port fees adds the CCCI is out of place and time and will not be accepted by the affected companies.

In a parallel move, in a letter to the Minister of Transport, the CCCI asks him to intervene in order not to impose these increases which will inevitably be a serious blow to their already burdened financial data.
