No to violence says the Party for the Animals of Cyprus at an event at Paphos Castle

The  Party for the Animals of Cyprus  with an event he organized in Limanaki, Kato Paphos, he once again condemned violence wherever it comes from or in whatever form it takes, whether it concerns domestic attacks, human trafficking, sexual violence in war zones or not child marriage, genital mutilation organs or femicide.

In  event organized by the Cyprus Party for Animals to eliminate violence against women symbolically offered free oranges and small love pots with succulents at the Castle in Kato Paphos.

In his statements, the president of the Party for Animals Kyriakos Kyriakou stated that violence against women is daily and has many faces. He added that our institutional protection building has been marked red, cannot be repaired and needs demolition and reconstruction. The event, Mr. Kyriakou said, is dedicated to women who pretend to be equal to men when they know they are superior.

He also said that violence against women is not a relic of other times, it is not a phenomenon of third countries and that violence against women is not the bad moment of a paranoid.  The Party for Animals, she continued, promotes and enlightens so that citizens understand that women have the power and must respect them.

For her part, Loukia Hatzigeorgiou stated that the event was originally organized for on November 25, which has been established worldwide as a day against violence against women, but was postponed due to bad weather.

In relation to the offer of oranges, Ms. Hatzigeorgiou said that the color orange has been established on this particular day day and expressed her satisfaction with the citizens' response.
