Horizontal and universal reduction of VAT on electricity bills to 5% for the next 3 months is suggested in a letter to the Minister of Finance, Konstantinos Petridis, OEB.
The above, “in combination with the absorption by companies of part of the dramatic increase in the cost of transport and raw materials, will make it possible to contain the wave of increases in final products, goods and services which would otherwise be passed on to the consumer “, says OEB.
