The Federation of Employers and Industrialists (OEB) believes that the epidemiological data allow the reopening of basic economic activities from February 1, 2021 and the rapid unlocking of the entire economy.
In collaboration with the affected Business Associations, OEB formulated and submitted to the Ministry of Health, updated protocols with stricter provisions and regulations for effective supervision of their implementation.
OEB clarifies that the reopening of the retail trade, which seems to be allowed from next Monday, can and should be done simultaneously for the entire sector without exclusions of Department Stores, Department Stores or Shopping Centers.
OEB's position is firm that the implementation of public health protection measures can coexist with the conduct of economic activity. It is time to adapt our habits and practices to that of reality and to return prudently to economic and social normalcy.
