The State Health Services Organization made a shocking post on social media in an attempt to show that the images we have been watching for a year now abroad and in the Intensive Care Units are not far from the situation that prevails in Cyprus, especially In recent months, where the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic has increased both the number of cases and the number of patients and the number of deaths in our country.
A total of 153 of our fellow human beings have lost their lives since the beginning of Covid-19 in Cyprus, while their average age is 80 years.

Unfortunately, they are not images from abroad, but images from our Cyprus and the intensive care units of OKYPY hospitals. The number of patients is increasing and our people at all levels are fighting real battles. We all have our role to play in this pandemic. We continue and we will win.
