The name of Saidu Alum has been in the forefront of news for some time now for Omonia. The 20-year-old Cameroonian joined the team's training sessions to be evaluated by the coaching staff.
Yesterday, the second sample of the young man came to the world. Alium had taken a starting jersey in the friendly match against MEAP, having a very positive presence, accompanying it with a goal.
His overall presence in the training sessions seems to put Jesper Janson and Sofroni Augustis in mind. Despite the fact that the information of the past few days indicated that he is going on loan to MEAP… the young man is gaining ground and the possibility of him signing a contract and remaining on the Omonia roster is far and away visible.
Moreover the the fact that in the “clover” there are not many options at the ends of the attack, may play a role. The whole issue is expected to be clarified in the coming days definitively, with Alium now putting forward a strong candidacy to remain on the “green” roster for the entire season.
