Next Monday, Omonia enters full competitive rhythms, playing on a double board, European and domestic success.
Last season, the “clover” experienced for the first time in its history, continuous obligations, matches every four days or so, as UEFA formed a special program after the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic. The greens this year may not have two matches a week, but the pressure for distinction and leading role, are elements that remain.
Omonia is invited to formulate a special program for these four months, which will give its presence to the Conference League groups. Last year's two-month period is an example from which the technical staff has learned. The six consecutive games without a win last autumn in championship games, had caused intense concern in the world, however the capital team after completing its presence in the Europa League groups, presented a different picture, made a series of victories in the winter, and took the top hand to win the championship.
The above statistics are clearly an example to be avoided for Omonia, which this year will make a plan to maintain a positive image in European and domestic games. Besides, Berg and his associates showed that they can… benefit the team quickly, if of course again. This year, however, it is clear that the program is suitable for more breaths.
