“Double” for Nea Salamina who beat Doxa 1-0 in “Katokopia-Return” and puts the Katokopia team on adventures.
Part A
The game started with the first few minutes being reconnaissance. Doxa showed their intentions though as they controlled the tempo of the game throughout the first half.
In the 6th minute the home team missed a huge opportunity with Asade inside the area to take the shot but Kissas made an impressive save. in a corner.
Doxa, who had possession for a little while, reached the 20th minute to open the scoring, but Benny from an advantageous position did not find the ball as he would have liked, and thus a great opportunity was lost.
In the 33rd minute, Trugic made a nice individual effort. but the shot was again blocked by the goalkeeper of New Salamina.
One minute before the 45th minute, Doxa won a foul in a very good position and Kovacevic took it, but he found Kissas ready again.
Nothing. it didn't change with both teams going to the locker room tied at 0-0.
Part B
The second half started in the same pattern as the first as Doxa was the team that wanted to attack. In the 55th minute, Ilic took the first shot of the second half but it was completely off target.
With the pace dropping compared to the first half, Doxa's players did not have a clear mind to attack.
The first phase of the game for New Salamina came in the 83rd minute with Florian but his shot was blocked by Siskowski.
A minute later the guests succeeded and opened the scoring with Salalih. The player from New Salamina took the shot with Siskowski blocking but in the rebound the ball hit him again and ended up in the nets.
Doxa tried to react and won a penalty in the 4th minute of stoppage time after branding of Margasa on Tinzani. The execution was undertaken by Sadik who missed as he sent the ball high over the post of Kissas.
Thus New Salamina left with the “double” and put Doxa in adventures who will play on the eve with ENP in the last match.
