As announced by the GTP, the President of the Republic will receive the Special Envoy of the UN Secretary General for the Cyprus Jane Hall Lut, at the Presidential Palace, on Monday, January 11, at 1030.
It is noted that the President of the Republic has sent a letter on the Cyprus issue to the UN Secretary General with concrete proposals in view of Mr. Guterres' initiative for the resumption of negotiations.
Asked about its content by KYPE, Deputy Government Spokesman Panagiotis Sentonas said that in the letter, President Anastasiadis “sends a series of proposals that contribute to the creation of a constructive environment and that strengthen the prospect of resolving the Cyprus issue.” Mr. Guterres for the resumption of negotiations and responding to the Secretary General's call for this purpose “.
