One death from Covid-19 and 8 new cases of coronavirus were announced on Friday in the occupied territories.
“Minister of Health” Ali Pilli in a written statement states that out of a total of 2,556 tests in the last 24 hours, 8 new cases of coronavirus were detected. He adds that a patient who suffered from other underlying diseases died from the disease.
In relation to the new incidents, two have reached the occupied areas through an airport, one is a confirmed case of contact and 5 are new infections within the community.
The total number of cases in the occupied areas is 1,743 while 10 people have lost their lives to the disease.
