The next meeting of the Council of Ministers is scheduled for August 23 and will take place at the Troodos presidential residence. One of the issues on the agenda is the decision for officials of the occupying regime who hold documents of the Republic of Cyprus.
According to our information, what seems to be orienting the government to take a decision is only the removal of passports from the “officials” of the pseudo-state, which includes the leader of the Turkish Cypriots, Ersin Tatar.
The “officials” of the occupation regime will lose only the passport of the Republic of Cyprus but not the citizenship. The reason for the decision to remove the passport from the officials of the pseudo-state has to do with their actions against the Republic of Cyprus. The decision of the Council of Ministers will name the Turkish Cypriot citizens of the Republic of Cyprus from whom the Cypriot passport will be removed.
